Las tradiciones arraigadas en los barrios antiguos de Celaya y la cartonería, se fusionan para dar vida nuevamente a los festejos de «Día de Muertos» característicos de este país y especialmente de la región Laja-Bajío con su «Paseo de Luminarias» y los tradicionales altares dedicados siempre, a personajes ilustres.
The traditions rooted in the old quarters of Celaya and the «cartonería», are fused to give life again to the celebrations of «Day of the Dead» characteristic of this country and especially of the Laja-Bajío region with its «Paseo de Luminarias» and the traditional «altares» always dedicated to illustrious people.

Además del gran aporte para la difusión a nivel estatal y nacional del Festival de las Ánimas 2016, el cartel para promocionar el altar dedicado a José Vázquez Sosa (Director de la Banda Municipal de Celaya) ha sido seleccionado por un jurado internacional para formar parte de la selección oficial de la XV Bienal Internacional de Cartel en México en la categoría «Cultural», y forma parte de su acervo, el cual ha sido postulado ante la Unesco para convertirse en Memoria del Mundo.
Results
In addition to the great contribution for the national and national diffusion of the Festival de las Ánimas 2016, the poster of the "altar" dedicated to José Vázquez Sosa (Director of the Municipal Band of Celaya) been selected by an international jury to be part of the official selection of the XV International Poster Biennial in Mexico in the category «Cultural» and now is part of its collection, which has been postulated to Unesco to become Memory of the World.
